Huacho to Pisco vía Lima

I’mWe left our compound in Huacho after breakfast with Carlos and Zviko. Eggs, local sausage and bread completed a scrumptious meal. Southbound shortly after 9am headed towards Lima. 

The 4 of us rode south through Lima and stopped for lunch at the famous, fancy La Rosa Náutica, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I had grilled pulpo and a chocolate mousse with lúcuma for desert. All in US$33! We spent 2 or 3 hours chatting before we said our goodbyes. Hopefully we’ll meet again in Patagonia. 

After lunch Shuli, Sergio and I battled traffic to the Touratech shop. After a few purchases, we pointed further south to Pisco. The coast south of Lima is beautiful. Quite different from the trash and stench to the north. The sun set during our trip and we entered Pisco at nightfall.
