You read it correctly - the motorcycles arrived in Bogotá on Saturday! Had they arrived on Friday we would likely be on the road today. However, we will go attempt to get them from customs on Monday. If all goes well, we will be heading southbound on Tuesday! Nearly two weeks waiting here for the motos.
We did our best to occupy our time in Bogotá the last couple of days. Shuli and I moved back closer to the airport in anticipation of receiving our bikes. The Hampton by Hilton Bogotá Airport has an amazing spread for breakfast. I got to try local fruits: maracuyá and guayaba. Shuli and I got a fresh haircut and I bought some GoPro supplies. Saturday evening we celebrated the arrival of our bikes by having dinner at Cumbia House. We also got to enjoy some live Columbian music. Today we will rest and get ourselves ready to get the bikes.

Lookin good Curt! Sounds like you will finally be on the road in another day or two. Looks like you guys made the best of your extended stay in Bogota but ready to move on no doubt! All is well back home and keeping an eye on things for you. //Mike
