Day 13 - Thur, Jan 30: Mike’s Sky Ranch to San Diego

Mike’s Sky Ranch is a one-of-a-kind place! Breakfast today was scrambled eggs with chorizo, beans and tortillas. Brad was determined that it was his last tortilla for a few weeks. 

Kickstands up at 8am. The ride out was easier than the ride in.  The sand seemed less challenging on the return! 

We skipped lunch and blasted to Ensenada and then Tecate. The border crossing was very easy. There were maybe 10 cars in line and we rode up to the front of the line. Back

at Pio Pico we loaded the bikes and made it to the hotel by nightfall. Claudia and her family from Hermosillo met us for dinner at Stone Brewing. Thank god for a burger and an IPA!

Tomorrow we start our drive north to Bend, OR.
