Day 7 - Fri, Jan 24: Cabo San Lucas

Another full day in Cabo San Lucas started with a visit to Medano Beach. We walked along the beach and stopped to eat fruit for breakfast. From the coast you could see a momma and baby whale in the bay. At one point the baby was jumping right next to two paddleboarders!!

We found Tim at the hotel finalizing his plans - he’s shipping the motorcycle directly to San Francisco and flying home tomorrow. Unfortunately he won’t be with us for the rest of the trip, but it at least all worked out okay. 

Claudia and I took a cooking class in the afternoon. From local vendors we obtained the fruit and vegetables, the meat, and fresh ground corn meal. The class was really fun and we met a couple that has an R1200GS back in Canada. 

The entire gang met for drinks and dinner tonight!  Rad, Wade and I finalized our plans for the northbound part of our trip. Tomorrow I’ll go to Todos Santos and then La Paz. Brad and Wade will take an off-road path along the Sea of Cortez to La Paz. I wish I could do that too, but I really want to see Todos Santos!
