Brad and Wade took an off-road path up the East Cape to La Paz. I went my own way to Todos Santos for lunch. Fish tacos were the only thing on the menu. From there I went to the historical town of El Triunfo. Cobblestone streets make for a bumpy ride. There is a piano museum and an old church.
I arrived in La Paz mid-afternoon. Our hotel is overlooking the Malecon. Brad and Wade hadn’t arrived yet. From Brad’s Garmin InReach, it appeared they had to turn back from their path and take the highway. I look forward to hearing the story.
As it turns out they ran into 8-10” of sand. And that was 8 miles before the “sandy” section! They decided to turn back and take pavement into La Paz. They had one other piece of excitement...as they were leaving Cabo they accidentally went about 100m the wrong way on a one way street. The Policia stopped them - it cost them $50....
