MX22: Cataviña

Mostly back tracking today on our way from San Ignacio to Cataviña. We had breakfast at a street vendor in the town square. And, of course I could leave San Ignacio without another tortilla harina purchase!

Once we passed Highway 3 towards San Felipe we were on new ground again. The ride through rolling cactus was lovely. The terrain then turns to rocky with cactus as we entered Cataviña. The hotel, the only in town, was a gem in the desert. There is an unfinished Pemex Station, but locals sell gasoline from barrels.
