We had a short day from Alto Río Senguer to Perito Moreno. The first 90km was down old Ruta 40, a fairly well-maintained gravel road. Nonetheless, one must be careful because gravel gets piled up in heaps on the turns and between tracks. Albin attempted to cross from one track to another and took a tumble. It was a mild high side and could have been much worse. No injuries and only slight damage to the bike.
We began our day at 7am to watch Argentina in the World Cup. A shocking loss to Saudi Arabia left everyone speechless.
Along the way Carlos stopped to show us the Guanaco carcasses. Some got snagged trying to jump the fence.
We have just over 1,000 miles left to reach Ushuaia!
Update: Albin got an x-ray in Punta Arenas - he has three broken ribs...
